Summer Research Day
Opens May 17 2023 12:00 AM (EDT)
Deadline Jun 14 2026 11:59 PM (EDT)
Description

The 2026 Virtual Summer Research Day will take place on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. The event is interdisciplinary; therefore, we welcome applications from all majors (STEM, Social Science, Humanities, Creative/Arts). If chosen to present, you will need to do a practice presentation the week prior to the event to receive constructive feedback. The exact timing of the event will be decided after the June 16 due date and will be based on the number of applications approved and the availability of the presenters. You should know that the Virtual Summer Research Day is primarily intended for seniors graduating at the end of Summer or Fall 2026, Honors in the Major students presenting their thesis research, or students who need to culminate the research engagement area for Garnet and Gold Scholars Society; otherwise, if this does not apply to you, we encourage you to consider presenting at Fall Research Day in mid-November and/or the 27th annual Undergraduate Research Symposium in early April 2027, which is open to all students.

All presentations will be oral presentations. Applications to present are due Sunday, June 14, 2026.
